HOW TO PLAY:
Teach Away in a Manger by phrase along with the corresponding shapes or portion of the picture. Have the kids trace the shapes in the air, one by one, phrase-by-phrase, as you sing. Repeat and invite kids to come up and draw the scene on the board.
Build a nativity scene as everyone sings: Let students come up one at a time and pick a piece of the nativity and put on the board. Keep singing and building till the nativity is complete.

Have kids find a partner. After they are in pairs, demonstrate the patterns.
There are 4 simple actions kids can do with their partners during the song. Some actions require children to hold hands while some they can do separately.
