Let kids color as they sing along to the primary songs or use in primary lessons!
These fun craft reinforces that no matter what situation we find ourselves in, the scriptures tell us "all things what (we) should do" (2 Nephi 32:3).
SCRIPTURE-STUDY SAM
Read/Say the "Scripture Treasures" poem (below)and listen to other scripture songs as the kids color and put together the craft. Then read each situation and corresponding scripture as you pull the strips through.
Let the kids figure out what the scripture tells you to do for each situation. After completing them all,
say the "When I Read the Scriptures" poem together (below).
SCRIPTURE POWER PINK WORD STRIPS
Invite the children to read together the following scriptures:
Joshua 1:8
1 Nephi 15:23–24
2 Nephi 31:20; 32:3
Jacob 4:6
Helaman 3:29–30.
Have them pick out the keywords by selecting the right word strips for each verse. Ask the children to find a word or phrase in each passage that teaches them about the power of studying the scriptures (choose from the strips provided - cut out and let kids find the words that match each verse). Reinforce the power the scriptures have.
