Here's some simple activities and goodbye gift ideas shared by Primary Presidencies, teachers, and music leaders, perfect for last Sunday's and Primary send-off's!
1. FAVORITE SCRIPTURE STORY & PRIMARY SONG

Ask the kids who are leaving to share their favorite scripture story and primary song with with you (in advance). Write each on a 3x5 card. On their last Sunday, have them all come to the front. Read one card and have the primary guess who they think it might be then sing the song. Repeat until you've shared each child's card.
2. ALOHA OE

In one of my old wards we had a tradition when either 11yos moved up or when kids moved out of the ward. We made them a candy lei and they stood up in front and everyone sang "Aloha Oe". I loved it so much and so did the kids, I wish every ward would do it. We just sang the chorus, which is the part from 0:50 to 1:41 of this video (see video below).
Write out the syllables on a dry erase board or chalkboard to make it easy for everyone to sing.

Something I’ve done in the past is Sing the “Hello song” (Children's Songbook #260) only change a few words to goodbye and past tense words. Change hello to goodbye, goodbye, we’re sad you see you go. Goodbye, goodbye oh we’ll miss you so!
5. JESUS WANTS ME FOR A [SUNBEAM]...

Sing, "Jesus wants you for a deacon/young women..."
Have the Deacons and YW come in and sing with everyone then take the kids away. :)
6. FAVORITE PRIMARY ACTIVITY

Let the kids who are leaving choose their favorite Primary Activity then do that along with singing one of their favorite primary songs or along with one of your planned songs.
We only have 3 leaving so each week in December we are doing their favorite singing time activity and singing their favorite song for the opening song.
7. PRIMARY LEADERS

Have them be the leaders for the day. They conduct and lead the music and hold the visual aides and choose the songs.
