Each soul is of great worth to Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ (see Luke 15:7, 10).
When we help others feel a desire to repent, we feel joy and the heavens rejoice (see Luke 15:1–10).
Prodigal Son
If we return to our Heavenly Father by sincerely repenting and seeking His forgiveness, He will rejoice and welcome us back with open arms (see Luke 15:11–32).
We can become more like our Heavenly Father by responding with compassion and joy when others repent (see Luke 15:25–32)

Share with the children a time when you or someone you know lost something valuable and then found it again. Describe for the children the value of the item, how you felt about losing it, what you did to find it, and how you felt when it was recovered. If appropriate, you could bring the object to show to the class. Ask the children to relate any incidents in their lives when they lost something valuable and found it again. Ask them how they felt about losing it, what they did to find it and how they felt when it was recovered.

Prep: Print out the sheep page. Write Luke 15:6 - "Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep" and D&C 18:10 on the sheep, one word per sheep. Then hide those sheep around the room.
Tell the kids you've lost some sheep and you need their help to find them. Let the children HUNT for the sheep. Once they find all the pieces, have them put the bible verses together in the right order then read the Bible verses together. Optional: Remove a sheep and recite again. Keep removing sheep until they are all removed to see if the kids can remember the verse.

Chocolate Coins

WHAT YOU NEED:
Chocolate coins
Black Permanent Marker
HOW TO PLAY:
Write a bible scripture verse(s) on some chocolate coins (one word per coin). Make enough sets that each child can have a couple coins. For church classes divided your group into smaller groups and give each group a set of coins. Write the bible verse on the board and read to the kids or have them read the verse with you. In their groups, have children mix up the set of coins. When you say "go," the groups race to put their coins in order of the scripture verse(s).
Hide a couple sheep under the farm tabs and a couple coins under the room tabs. Let the kids find the sheep and coins and read the items from that number for each.*
*Each sheep and coin has a number. When a child finds that number sheep or coin, read the corresponding item on the sheep or coin list: the sheep are messages from the parables and the coins are things that we can do to help others that are feeling lost and things that we can do when we are feeling lost. If we are lost, what must we do to be found? Kids can name other things as well.
Extension: Hide the bigger lamb and coin around the room and let kids find. Once found, choose one of the items on each list to read. Let kids name other things as well.
