Heavenly Father can bless others through me. (PRIMARY/FAMILY)

• Bring a bag containing pictures that represent ways that we can bless and serve others: Use the Bless & Serve printable-available in the CFM Kids 2023 Activity Book (July-Dec) - in the PRINTABLES LIBRARY and SERVICE FOLDER GAME cards. Let the kids take turns choosing pictures from the bag, sharing how they can bless others in that way, (then add the cards to the service folder game).

• Sing, "When We're Helping We're Happy" primary song folder game. After you talk about each card, substitute words: "...for we like to help OTHERS" (instead of mother), "for we shall love them so" (instead of "for we all lover her so). 
• Use the Ways to Show Love hearts as you sing "Love One Another" or other related songs - kids flip over hearts or add around Jesus and discover ways to show love (or ways that don't show love). After each heart, briefly discuss how that things blesses the lives of others.

Play the BEE Honest game - each card gives real-life situations. Kids identify if that's an example of being honest or not as they move the bees along the board. First to the finish wins. 

Or, use without the game and just use the situation cards along with the paper bag puppets, as suggested in the CFM lesson ideas. (Note: Pick and choose which cards to use, depending on your age group & make up your own additional situation cards.)

Holy Ghost STRING GAME: 

A fun, simple game where kids slide the Holy Ghost towards them as they name ways the Holy Ghost speaks to them and what the Holy Ghost can tell them. (Complete directions and printable in the CFM 2023 Kids Activity Book, July-Dec), available in the printables library.

Be of one heart and one soul. (FAMILY)

What does it mean to be “of one heart and of one soul”? In what ways do we sometimes “[keep] back part” of our contribution? Why is doing that like “[lying] unto God”? (Acts 5:2, 4). How does dishonesty affect us spiritually?

Move As One Object Lesson

What You Need - a long rope

Ask everyone to come in a circle and get really close to each other, in a bunch, all facing you, as close together as they can get. Take the rope around them and tie them all together. Back up at least a few feet from them. Now tell them the goal is for them to walk forward to you. Tell them that they will need to work together and move together so they don't fall all over each other. Let them try. (USE CAUTION so no one gets hurt). Discuss the experience, good and bad and how that is like being unified or not.
