* Display the images on the board out of order and invite kids to come up arrange in order as everyone sings.
* Make two copies of each image and place face-down on the board. Invite kids to come flip over images and try and make matches as everyone sings.
* This or That - Let kids choose between two pictures and match to the lyrics of each song phrase. (Suggestions below, find your own images).
Ex: We do not see the wind; We only hear it sigh. = wind vs. clouds
It makes the grasses bend; Whenever it goes by. = grass vs. trees
We do not see God’s love, But in our hearts we know = heart vs. anger
He watches over us; Wherever we may go. = eyes vs. ears
We do not have to see; = eyes (see) vs mouth (talk)
To know the wind is here; = wind vs another things (birds, houses...)
We do not have to see; = eyes (see) vs hands (touch)
To know God’s love is near. = heart (love) vs tears or another thing
2. PICTURE MEMORY RECALL
WHAT YOU NEED:
Picture Scene to fit each verse of the song
HOW TO USE:
Show the kids the picture as you (or everyone) sings. Tell them the goal is for them to try and remember as many details about the picture as they can. Once the verse is finished, take the picture away and ask the kids what they can remember. Sing the verse again as you hold the picture up to check and have them memorize more things. Repeat this process until the kids have described most all of the picture.
