1. SONG GAMES BUNDLE
WHAT YOU NEED:
We Thank Thee Oh, God For A Prophet bundle
HOW TO PLAY:
Verse 1 Song Slider: Make the slider then slide through as singing.
Invite different students to come up and use the slider.
Verse 2 Mobile: Either put the mobile completely together before hand then point to the parts as singing (or invite different students to come up and point to the sections of the mobile as everyone sings),
OR
Cut out the mobile pieces and string pieces but DO NOT attach the pieces together...
Attach the strings permanently to the BOTTOM of each figure, then hot glue magnetic dots to the bottom of each string and the back of each figure where they will connect.
Pass out the pieces of the mobile, except for the cloud then let them come up and build the mobile as everyone sings.
Verse 3 Puzzle: Pass out the puzzle pieces then let the kids come up and match as everyone sings. OR, have the puzzle pieces on the board and invite kids to come up and match as everyone sings.

3. CUP RHTHMS
WHAT YOU NEED:
A cup for each child
For Jr. Primary:
Keep the pattern simple. (Sing "We--" first then start the pattern)
Example - Tap (patsch) on leg (on "thank") then tap the bottom of the cup on
the palm of the hand (on "thee").
Repeat this pattern throughout the song but after "Later Days..." say "FREEZE!" then
have the kids switch hands - whichever hand was holding the cup now pats.
After "rays..." say "FREEZE" and switch hands again.
After "hand..." say "FREEZE" and switch hands again.
For Sr. Primary, a challenge... ;) To the beat....
Start with cup in the RH on the right leg, top of cup down. ("We...")
Hit on palm of LH with the bottom of the cup. ("Thank...")
Flip and hit on the palm of the LH with the top of the cup. ("Thee...")
Tap/set on LEFT knee. ("Oh, God...")
Switch hand holding cup to LH. ("for a...")
Hit on palm of RH with the bottom of the cup. ("Pro - ...")
Flip and hit on the palm of the RH with the top of the cup. ("Pro - ...")
Tap/set on RIGHT knee. (" - phet...")
Switch hand holding cup to RH. ("to...")
Keep repeating the pattern for the rest of the song.
EXTENSION SUPER CHALLENGE:
To make it even more difficult, for those boys or girls that usually "don't want to sing..."
Have them pair up with a partner and instead of tapping the cup on their knees, they SWITCH cups with their partner each time. :) :) SO FUN!! SUCH A CHALLENGE!!
I'll try and get a video up at some point. Until then, let me know if you have any questions at (support@ldsprimaryprintables.com). HAVE FUN!!
4. PROPHETS CLOTHESLINE
WHAT YOU NEED:
- Prep - Make a clothesline by taking a piece of yarn or string and attaching to two chairs or tape each end to the board.
- Clothespins
- Prophet pictures with a fact (something they taught) on the back - get the Prophets of the Restoration cards in the printables library (no facts on the back).
HOW TO PLAY:
Invite kids up one at a time to pin up a prophet on the clothes line (1 for each phrase). Start by reading the fact on one of the cards then everyone sings as the child with the cards pins it up on the clothes line. Stop after each phrase or phrase section (ex: "We thank thee oh, God for a Prophet" - stop - read the next prophet fact then pin up on clothes line). Repeat the song as many times as needed till all prophets are pinned up. (You can also use older scripture prophets as well).
