Before I jump into sharing what's in the Primary Singing Time binder, first let me share one of the most useful things you can have as a Primary Music Leader... A 2-4 yr outline. This type of schedule is useful not only so you know what songs the kids have learned either with you or before you came into Primary, but also so that you can better plan what songs they are going to learn. It is also an amazing this to leave for the next Primary Chorister as well!
A singing time schedule is important for any music leader, primary presidency, and pianist and makes organization and keeping everyone on the same track possible.

The Weekly Song Plan Page makes it easy to stay organized and know exactly what songs you'll be covering as well as how many Sundays you've gone through the song previously, and a space for "Additional Notes" where you can write any notes on the songs, like "Kids know verses 1-2 for I am a Child of God" but not verse 3. or "Verse 3 of "x song" needs a lot of work. You can also use the space to write in the weekly Come Follow Me lesson topic and suggested songs, any special notes or directions about the songs for that week, and any other ideas or items you might need or want to remember.

Need a simple, easy way to keep track of what songs have been learned, what hasn't and what is and isn't ready for the PRIMARY PROGRAM? Then grab this super simple, quick-reference printable by joining the free printables library.
My suggestion: Laminate and use a WET ERASE MARKER (keep in the binder-attach with a string on the inside and keep in binder sleeve pocket) or make several copies you can write-in updates.
While there is a weekly song planner included in the Primary Music Binder, this free one includes more space and additional space for supplies needed and notes. Use the section for notes to quickly jot down anything you want to remember when planning the next week's primary singing time (i.e. what went well, what didn't, where the kids are at with the song, etc.).
