Tape all the hearts to the board. Invite one child per song phrase to come up and flip up a heart. Stop singing after each song phrase and read what's on the heart. Continue inviting kids until all the hearts have been read.
Extensions: Use the PINK Ways to Show Love Hearts & Jesus Figure:
There are a variety of ways you can use these printables. Here's a few ideas:
--Put on the walls around the room and let students get the hearts then bring them up and put them on the board as everyone sings. Read the hearts at the end of the song.
--Display the Jesus figure in the middle of the board. Give the hearts out to all the students as you sing the song through. Repeat and stop after each phrase, asking a student to stand and read their heart (or read it for them if they are too young to read), then have them bring their heart up to the board and put it around Jesus.
