This simple, low-prep primary singing time idea - to COLOR A SONG - will work for any song and is a fun way to engage the kids as they sing and reinforce visual images and tactile learning!

NOTE: Not all the yoga card positions will be appropriate for a church setting. When using during singing time at church, choose the cards appropriate for that setting.
HOW TO USE:
If you have just Junior or Senior separate -
Put up one of the coloring pages for the song and some crayons on a table top.
Invite one child up to the front to color for 10-15 seconds and as everyone sings,
tap another child on the shoulder to go up and color. Keep tapping kids on the shoulder
(and repeating the song) until the whole picture is colored. Then hold up the picture and show everyone. Briefly talk about what the picture represents and your testimony of the song's message. Sing the song one more time.
If you have Junior and Senior combined -
You can use the above idea or have two copies of the coloring page and have one child from
Jr. and one child from Sr. primary come up to the table to color. Follow the same process as outlined above.
These coloring puzzles add an extra challenge as the kids color the dots to reveal the hidden symbol in the picture. (Packet above includes two levels of coloring puzzle pages, one for Junior Primary and one for Senior Primary).
HOW TO USE:
Use the same way as stipulated above and after briefly talk about the symbol that was hidden in the picture, what it means and how it relates to the song.
