This fun Prayers in the Scriptures card game give examples of people from the scriptures who prayed for help with different problems and the answers they received. Match the "Who Prayed" cards with the "What happened" cards. Use the scripture references on each card to help.
Note: This bundle also includes a TRIALS matching card game. The Trials Match cards give examples of people from the scriptures and the trials they experienced. Match the scripture character card with the trial description card. Talk about how the people in these stories responded to their trials and how God helped them in their trials. PRAY ALWAYS - WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO ALWAYS HAVE A PRAYER IN YOUR HEART?
“Pray always, and I will pour out my Spirit upon you, and great shall be your blessing—yea, even more than if you should obtain treasures of earth.” (D&C 19:38.)
“Men ought always to pray, and not to faint.” (Luke 18:1.)
“Watch and pray,” He said, “that ye enter not into temptation.” (Matt. 26:41.)
“Pray always lest that wicked one have power in you, and remove you out of your place.” (D&C 93:49.)
During the course of the day, we keep a prayer in our heart for continued assistance and guidance—even as Alma suggested: “Let all thy thoughts be directed unto the Lord” (Alma 37:36). Having a prayer to God always in your heart means keeping God ever in your thoughts and following Him in word and deed.

COME FOLLOW ME FOR LITTLE ONES PRAYER ACTIVITY
Read 3 Nephi 13:9–13 together and help your little ones say, “Heavenly Father wants me to pray to Him.”
Collect pictures of people doing different gospel activities, including praying, from Church magazines or at medialibrary.ChurchofJesusChrist.org.
Turn all the pictures upside-down, then take turns flipping them over.
Whenever you see someone praying, help everyone practice folding their arms, bowing their heads, and closing their eyes.
